5/25/08: So it's probably come to most people's attention that this site hasn't been updated in more than 3 years now. Sadly, the demise of the Thoroughbred series coincided with many (good) changes in my own life. When I started reading these books I was 8 years old, and when I founded the website I was probably around 12. I'm now 23 and about to earn my bachelor's degree in history at George Mason University. The books were my inspiration, and owning and running this site was an amazing experience I'll probably never duplicate. I would like to thank everyone who made it possible. For those of you still looking to complete your collections, I encourage you to visit amazon.com, where you can buy out of print books both cheaply and safely from second-party sellers. Someday I may be able to complete the site in a final way that will make it unnecessary to make further changes, but until that day I'll continue the pay to keep the site online so that fans new and old will still be able to learn about and remember their favorite books.
Hello and welcome to Whitebrook Farm, a fan site
dedicated totally and completely to the Thoroughbred
Series, which was created by Joanna Campbell in 1991. This site, the
first of it's kind, has been in service since 2000! We are an
interactive fan site, and are constantly striving to be the most
comprehensive site out there on the series! We have up-to-date info on
all the books, a character list, fan fics, info on all the authors, and
more. In the barns, you'll find all of Whitebrook's famous horses, past
and present, along with representations of the horses taken from real
life. I would like to note, Whitebrook Farm is not real. This site
and horses in the barns are completely fictional. Also, this site is in
no way officially associated with Joanna Campbell, and I myself am NOT
Joanna Campbell.
So please, explore. I reccomend you visit the message
board.
It's a very tight-nit community where we post the lastest info on the
series, share opinions on the books, and give each other feedback on
fan fiction in progress. It's a wonderful place to not only dicuss the
TB series, but to make some great friends. The MB is also updated, so
to speak, more frequently than the site. When the site is updated,
notification will be posted at The
Inside Track.
However, even though the MB is perhaps the most interactive part of
this site, there is still a wealth of information to be found without
even leaving the main fan site. Here you can find author emails, TB
trivia, a complete list of ALL the books ever published under the TB or
Ashleigh imprints, answers to your most frequently asked questions, and
some links to some other great sites related to the TB series. So I
reccomend you stick around, this is a TB fan's heaven!
If you have any questions, please contact me, your
friendly webmistress Claire, at whitebrook@whitebrookfarm.com.
Please note, however, that I am NOT Joanna Campbell, nor am I in
anyway officially associated with her. Now start exploring!
